Upgrade components
Upgrade components are items that can be slotted into weapons, armor trinkets and gathering tools to provide a bonus or extra effect while the equipment is being utilized. They can be purchased from vendors or other players, looted or obtained as an incentive, or even created by crafting materials. Upgrades can have cosmetic effects in addition to providing attribute bonuses.
Infusions, inscriptions, and enhancements are a type of upgrade component. They are not accessible to the general public and are only available on equipment that has been elevated, or certain non-ascended weaponry from the Factions Campaign. You can retrieve infusions or inscriptions, as well as enrichments from equipment by using an Infusion Extractor Device or by salvaging them using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or an Ascended Salvage Tool.
Unlike other upgrade items Phoenix Boxes, unlike other upgrade items, can be traded while connected to the item they are upgrading. They can be reused after being salvaged. These upgrade items can be used to improve weapon and armor quality, without spending Dilithium. They can double the likelihood that an item will receive a high-quality upgrade.
An upgrade component placed in an item may be replaced by another but it is not able to replace the original (except for upgrades to legendaries and equipment with ascended levels). Upgrade components are only available to upgraded items with an identification level of zero or greater. If you add an upgrade to a weapon already equipped with a suffix or a prefix upgrade the item will be named in the same way as it would appear on the game screen (for example adding the Radiant insignia to Canthan Armor makes it Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). A player can only have three upgrade items at a time.
Glyphs

Glyphs can be a great addition to any product. They provide unique advantages and boosts. Certain glyphs increase the number of affixes an item has, thereby increasing the power of the item. These glyphs are available through dungeons, and some can even be found in specific World Tier 3 areas. It's important to note that glyphs cannot be used on a character that has not been able to create an area of root dungeons of the same size.
In order to use a Glyph first, you need to create it using components and connect them with anchors. The component will then automatically align to other components or paths within the same layer. If you do not want to create the glyph using components, you can make use of the combination of paths and anchors. Drag an element in the direction of a component highlighted to lock it in place.
Certain glyphs require certain requirements to be met, such as 25 Dexterity in a specific area on the Paragon Board. Some require a specific number of Primary Stat nodes to activate which is sometimes difficult to achieve. Some glyphs also have a radius, which increases as you move up.
Glyphs are available for a wide variety of items, and are added to all weapons except for the weapons of specific classes. Certain glyphs come with additional conditions, such as an amount of damage to Dexterity or attack damage in a particular area of the Paragon board.
The Defend Glyph increases the chance of blocking enemy attacks by 5%. It also has an opportunity to render the Hero vulnerable for two turns.
Some glyphs can also be used on limited tools, such as the Black Lion Chest and Trading Post. The addition of these glyphs will contribute to the Combat Mechanic achievement.
The most common glyphs in the game are the attack glyphs, which increase Artifacts' ATK substats by a fixed value. They are particularly useful for classes with a range such as Warriors and Rogues. Other glyphs include the Exploit Glyph which makes enemies who hit the Hero vulnerable to being damaged.
Reroll tokens
Reroll tokens are special tokens that can be used to roll back one of the results when taking an Action. When the reroll occurs the tokens are then discarded. Reroll tokens are accessible in many ways, such as through raids and dungeons, or through participation in skirmishes. They can also be purchased in the store, or from other players. They are especially useful in dungeons and trials since they allow players to roll the rewards from the end chest.
item upgrade for recycling points are provided for items at the level 1. The upgrade gauge will increase by a certain amount of points each time you recycle an item. This value scales according to the item's level and rarity. The upgraded item also will not keep its level when recycled, and the cost for recycling an upgraded item rises when its level increases.
Alternately, players can make use of reroll tokens to make an upgrade item rerollable however, this won't bring the item back to its original state or provide its original extra statistics. This is a great option for those who want to reroll a piece of equipment they don't love but want to keep in their collection.
Three kinds of upgrade coins are available in the game - reroll, randomly generated, and upgrade. Each type comes with a variety of subtypes. For instance, reroll tokens come in three different levels: enhanced, rare and legendary. Each level requires an item from the level in order to create an item of that level.
To make use of reroll tokens, click on the Satanic or Angelic item in inventory and select "Reroll Token". Select the type of token you want to use. The available tokens include Item, Weapon, Misc, 1hgun, 2hgun and Focus. The Item token can be used to create an Item in any quality. A Weapon or Misc token can create a new weapon from the same faction.
There is also a chance that the item will be upgraded to a new item with a higher level and the same extra stats. This will occur if the item is in the Non-droppable Pool or has been transferred to it as part of a Franchise Card.
